Interview Support
“Your explanations made complete sense and helped keep everyone on track”
Understanding is key
When you are tasked with discussing the issues surrounding an incident with the subject of the investigation, it's important for both you and the subject that there are no misunderstandings about the allegation, the evidence which supports that allegation and the subjects response to it.
It doesn't matter whether you represent the organisation or the subject at this point, what is critical for an early resolution is absolute clarity on all sides about the relative positions of each.
This is where we can help.
We have years of experience in presenting technical evidence to non-technical people, effectively working as a translator. This is especially true when the subject of the investigation is technical, like an IT administrator and the interviewer is a non-technical HR Manager. In these situations it can be very easy for the subject to pull the wool over the eyes of the interviewer, which in the long term, helps no one.
If you are a bit out of your depth with this, then we can assist by leading the interview and putting the questions to the subject. this allows us to immediately capture any misleading answers and ensure the subject realises that nothing short of the truth will suffice.
If you would like us to assist you with an on-going matter, or simply need some help preparing for the type of questions to ask and the responses to look for, then give us a call and we'll do everything we can to help.
